- מִרְמָסm. (b. h.; רָמַס) that which is trodden upon. Tanḥ. ed. Bub., Bresh. 23; Yalk. Dan. 1066 עד מתי הם מ׳ לאו׳׳ה how long will they be trodden upon by the nations? Gen. R. s. 21 מ׳ לפני מלאךוכ׳ trodden upon by the angel of death.
